Fresh Juices & Lassi's

Fresh juices are a staple for me in Sri Lanka, and I have one every morning with my breakfast. With the exotic array of fruits available on the Island, there is always plenty to choose from.

Lassi's traditionally originate from India. This Indian influence is present in much of the country's cuisine, but Sri Lanka has adapted many recipes and each one is now unique to the country. In Sri Lanka lassi's are made by blending buffalo curd or natural yogurt with fruit, ice and sugar.  I’d recommend the lime lassi, its literally like having a cheesecake in a glass, minus the buttery biscuit base of course.
